The 15th annual Taj's Small Fries event is set to kick off in a matter of hours, with many expected to attend an official launch party with none other than Yallingup surf legend Taj Burrow.
The launch party, organised by the Yallingup Boardriders, will be held from 5pm at Next Level Monkey Business on Friday, January 17.
The annual junior surfing competition has fast become one of the most anticipated in the country, drawing hundreds of participants from across the state.
Attendees will be treated to adrenaline pumping ropes and zip-lines, food and a silent auction.
There are set to be some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including Taj's Signature Catch Surf 54 Special Surfboard, a couple of Globe Skateboard Cult of Freedom Cruiser Boards, merchandise and a range of local business vouchers.
Tickets are $25 for contestants, with spectators and adults able to enter for a gold coin donation.
