The committee of the Margaret River Toy Library has reached out to entice new members to the group.
The library is located opposite the Community Day Care Centre, next to the playgroup at the Margaret River Community Centre.
It features an enormous range of toys and play equipment for all ages, and even boasts a Party Pack that can be loaned for birthday parties.
"Why purchase expensive items that may only be used a few times, or just once in the case of a birthday party, when we have all these fantastic pieces in the Party Pack that can be set up in your yard or an open space," said the Library's Natalie Beaujot.
"We often find parents are surprised at what their children are interested in.
"They come in to browse and pick up toys that their parents may never have thought of buying, so they're also getting a broader play experience. Not to mention they can replace their toys with different ones every couple of weeks.
"There's also the try-before-you-buy element, we all know kids can get bored of their toys so this is a way for families to test toys before spending money on new ones."
Ms Beaujot said the library was also popular with grandparents and other carers who did not have a fully stocked toybox and wanted to keep their young charges entertained.
There are small toys, games and larger play equipment including trampolines, bikes and scooters on offer with the range of toys rotated and updated regularly.
"Through the library, families can have access to a large range of high quality and educational toys, and we're also reducing our carbon footprints by sharing toys with others."
Hoping to boost committee and supporter numbers, the library is seeking a new Toy Coordinator.
"The role of coordinator is a really fun way to be involved in our community - and you get to purchase new toys for the Toy Library!
"The committee is also seeking new members, to help us with organisation and volunteering for shifts to operate the library during opening hours.
"We are urging anyone who would like to join the group to make contact, we need your help to keep this important service running for our community."
The Margaret River Toy Library is located at 33 Tunbridge Street and is open every Saturday 9.30am-11am and every Friday 11.45am-12.45pm (closed for some public holiday weekends). Membership fees apply.
