King Of Concrete Busselton went off on the weekend with 70 skaters competing for prize money, prizes, State Titles, and Australian Skateboarding Federation rankings points in front of a crowd of packed Busselton Skatepark.
Taking out the open mens group for the second year running was 14 year old Kieran Woolley from Minnimurra NSW, with Isi Campbell from Denmark taking out Top Honours in the womens division.
Woolley, a member of the first Australian National Skateboarding Team laid down difficult lines filled with technical tricks, such as frontside inverts, frontside flips linked together flawlessly, edging out fellow Australian team member Ethan Copeland from the ACT and Zepp Heyes from Victoria.
WA State Champion was crowned from fourth place getter from Geraldton John Cahill.
Isi Campell dominated the womens field, earning the WA champ title with a smooth style and grinds into the deep with Jessica Scheier coming second, and Claudia Duane in 3rd,
"I love coming to Busselton," said Woolley.
"Its really the most fun competition and I just love this place."
