The WA Police Force have announced they will recommence roadside Random Breath Testing (RBT) from Saturday June 6, including the deployment of Breath and Drug buses.
The high-volume testing was temporarily suspended in mid-March due to the health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Roadside testing continued through random and targeted high visibility traffic patrols during this period.

After extensive consultation with the Department of Health, the recommencement of Breath and Drug Bus operations will begin this weekend.
Procedures have been modified to meet COVID-safe requirements.
The return to normal roadside breath and drug testing comes as COVID-19 restrictions are eased in WA, and an increase in patronage of pubs, hotels and other licensed venues is expected.
