After many weeks of training, learning individual and team skills the youngest players of the Margaret River Hockey Club finally had a chance to have a go at the real thing.
Last Saturday, the players pulled on their hockey socks and took to the field for a game.
"With the re-commencement of training in May, these keen players aged from pre primary to Year 5, enjoyed the opportunity to put their skills to the test and learn some team positioning too," said a club spokesperson.
In total, 18 players and many parents enjoyed the afternoon of hockey fun. For more information on hockey for all ages, visit www.margaretriverhockey.org.au
