This July school holidays come and join Arts Margaret River on a fun-filled scavenger hunt adventure.
Catering for children of all ages, the Happy Holiday Hunt will give kids an opportunity to get outdoors and have fun as they race the clock to complete a number of hunt challenges.
Participants will be given a map showing the various locations to visit where they will have to answer questions, complete activities or collect items to score points.
After completing the hunt sheet, they race back to Arts Margaret River for a sausage sizzle, more activities and prize draws. The hunt starts at 10am and hunters must return by 12pm.
Andrew Frith, Arts Margaret River General Manager said the organisation wanted to give children something fun and exciting to do during the school holidays.
"We wanted to create an event that would get the kids outdoors and having fun doing an activity that they might not have done before," Mr Frith said.
"We came up with the idea of a scavenger hunt as we held a car rally a couple of years back and all participants thoroughly enjoyed it.
"So we thought we would take the same idea and adapt it for kids.
"We are lucky to have lots of great local spots within walking distance and we're sure the kids will enjoy the challenge," he added.
