Indian Ocean Longboard Club held it's first club contest since the lockdown commenced.
An nice winter's day greeted competitors, though the northerly wind shortened the peaks and caused a bit of mayhem.
Two boards were snapped during the heats.
Peter Schupp won the wipeout of the day award, a fun trophy made from a Corona stubby and a toilet roll.
The best wave went to Jacob McIver, who with Zalli Every and family make the trip down from Mandurah each round.
The Gill Warman Handicap winner was Graham Gibson, followed by Shae Sheridan, Zalli Every and Paul Bourke.
The next club contest will be held on Saturday 8th August all going well.
Plans are under way for the Yallingup Malibu Classic in December.

Western Australia's best junior surfers will be congregating at Geraldton this weekend for the State titles with a total of seven divisions.
Riders from across the state will be fired up to compete after a long delay in competitions and will get busy in the quality surf.
There are a number of reef and beach breaks along the Batavia coastline to choose from and a consistent swell during this time of the year.
Age divisions range from under 18's to the micro groms in the under 12's division with plenty of talented rippers who are not only battling it out for the 2020 State Title but also in hope of being able to travel to Queensland for the Australian Titles later in the year.
Local surfers from Dunsborough and Yallingup will be out to prove a point against the rest of the competitors.
Junior surfing has continued to grow in popularity in WA so much that these competitions are now some of our most attended events of the year and entries are limited.
There will also be a second Junior State round in the Perth metro beaches during late September.
Forecast: Thursday will see the NW winds turns W with a 4.5m swell so there should be some waves in the bay. Friday will have SSW winds and solid 3.5m swell so there will be plenty of waves at Bunker Bay.
There will be some more SW winds on Saturday with a smaller 2.5m swell while Sunday looks good with clean ESE wind and a fun 2m swell.
