Margaret River's Year 9-12 Boys hockey team had a successful outing against Cavaliers this week.

The Margaret River Hockey Club Year 9-12 Boys side enjoyed a great win against the Cavaliers this week.

It was a strong team effort from the side, with all players assisting in setting up the goals.

Top scorers included Conor Callow who notched up five goals, and Oscar Male, birthday boy Ari Lane and Corey Rose each with one goal apiece.

Margaret River focused on holding position, passing back to control the pace of the game and looking up to target the passes.

With three players on the bench the young team was able to rotate players and maintain energy.

The Cavaliers have some younger players on their team this season, showing a lot of spirit in defence.

Well done to all players and thank you to the umpires for a job well done.
