The Margaret River Hawks Cricket Club is inviting girls and boys interested in trying cricket to visit the club this Saturday, September 26 between 12.30 and 1.30pm.
The session is immediately after the U13s football grand final and is sure to be a lot of fun. Registrations will be taken on the day and any questions answered.
After a COVID-interrupted end to the season, the Hawks are looking forward to the 2020/21 season and the chance to get back to back in the premiership race.
There have been some big changes on the off season, most notably the inclusion of juniors to the Hawks ranks.
With the Margaret River Junior Cricket Club not fielding sides this season, all junior cricketers in Margaret River and south are encouraged to register now before positions are filled.
Stages 1, 2 and 3 cater for juniors From Year 3 up to and including under 14s, while there is also Junior Blasters and Master Blasters catering for 5-10 year olds.
Young coaches Harvey "Nemo" Fisher, (15) and Bailey Kelly, (17), will be assisted with Tom Joyce, (10) Sam Joyce, (11) and Rueben Bain, (11) coaching the Blasters.

Stage 1 and 2 sides are now at capacity, and Hawks are seeking expressions of interest to nominate extra sides. Numbers need to be in by Sunday to nominate.
