Margaret River student Violet Longmore has excelled as part of the 2020 Football West National Training Centre (NTC) Elite Program for Girls Football Program. The Girls Team plays in the U/13 State Division 1 Boys League in Perth.
The 14 year old player recently attended the NTC Awards Night along with her father, where she was awarded the Community Footballer Award 2020 for the U/14 Girls - the top and only award for the team.
Longmore and Coach Gavin Sit, who commended her for making the effort to travel to train and play in Perth.
Coach Gavin Sit spoke highly of Longmore's consistent performance on and off the pitch, her commitment and love for the sport, and her work and involvement in the community by coaching and inspiring younger female players.
