The youth of Margaret River came together on Saturday for the Shire of Augusta Margaret River Youth Advisory Council's annual MR SAMM festival.
Held at the Margaret River Youth Precinct and skatepark, the event brought some of the region's best young musicians, artists and skaters together for a day of discovery and fun as well as providing avenues to seek help for issues affecting young people.
The Soggy Bones Skate Jam was a hotspot with skaters vying for glory as a large crowd of supporters cheered them on. The Radio Margaret River team was onsite to conduct a live broadcast from the event.
Mindfulness activities and a silent disco also kept festival goers busy, while local artist Britta Sorensen's art workshop posed the question - 'What do you love about the Augusta Margaret River region?' with responses being added to an embroidered art piece.
