In Augusta, a special event will see two-time Australian Country Music Golden Guitar winner Tom Curtain bring his Katherine Outback Experience horse and working dog show to town as part of his In The West tour.
Also promoting his fourth studio album, Curtain has been appearing in towns across WA before he takes the tour to locations in South Australia and the Northern Territory through the year.
The family friendly event combines a hour Outback Show of horse training and working dog demonstrations followed by a program of live music by Curtain, Chris Matthews and special guests.
Augusta Hotel owner Jim Challis said the event had been championed by the venue and local residents keen to bring the tour to town.
"This is great accommodation by Shire to enable this family friendly event to take place so appropriately on Australia Day," Mr Challis said.
"Annabelle Curtain and Emma Pinnock worked with the Shire to help get this wonderful performance off the ground and we are so looking forward to the event on 26th January at the Augusta Hotel."
