Port Macquarie and NSW Mid North Coast swamped as record-breaking floods hit

From Bellingen to Port Macquarie, Mount Seaview, Wauchope and Gloucester and Wingham waters raged.

West of Port Macquarie, the Kindee Bridge peaked at 12.1 metres during the early hours of Saturday morning, breaking the 2013 major flood record.

The SES made 180 flood rescues overnight, and there were more than 500 calls for help.
