Surfing at the 2021 Margaret River Pro will resume today with the men's Round of 16 called on in pumping six-foot surf.
The men's Round of 16 will begin at 7:35 a.m. AWST with 44-minute heats using the overlapping format. The men's and women's Quarterfinals are on standby for a possible start today.
"The swell has jumped up overnight and we have great conditions," said WSL SVP of Tours and Head of Competition, Jessi Miley-Dyer.
"The men's Round of 16 is going to kick off competition today with overlapping heats to ensure we make the most of the good winds we have this morning.
"The men's and women's Quarterfinals will be on standby for a possible start after the men's Round of 16."
