Margaret River Uniting Church is embracing Sustainable September with a community screening of the documentary, Albatross.
The film is a powerfully moving story of an Albatross colony, the impact of plastic and the need for greater action to protect our oceans and the life that depends on it.
The film was gifted by the director Chris Jordan as a public artwork, the only requirement being that the opportunity be taken to raise funds during screenings.
The Uniting Church is pleased to be partnering with Tangaroa Blue, with all funds raised to assist in their work in protecting our oceans.
Local representative Casey Woodard, will be on hand at the screening to chat about Tangaroa Blue's work.
The documentary will be screened at the Uniting Church at 60 Tingle Ave on Sunday September 12 at 11.30am. It runs for 90 minutes and is recommended for ages above 12.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own movie snacks. No bookings necessary.
