Another locally-made snack has been added to the box office offerings at Margaret River HEART, with the announcement of a partnership between the venue and Bettenay's Margaret River Nougat Co.
Following the HEART's collaboration with Millers Ice Creamery and the development of their cinema favourite, the Choc Bomb, HEART Event Support Team Assistant Ian Smith said the team was eager to offer more products produced within the region.
"Supporting local traders and choosing local produce can trigger a cycle of benefits that help create a thriving community," Mr Smith said.
"We offer a range of local products at the bar and kiosk and our local treats are always a favourite with cinema-goers."
Bettenay's Owner Terri Bettenay said their decadent range of nougat is created from the finest local produce - onsite in their nougat kitchen on Tom Cullity Drive.
"Our nougat recipe is French-inspired, with a creaminess and chewiness like no other. It is handmade in small batches to ensure the nougat is always of the highest standard," she said.
"The Honey and Toasted Almond Nougat and Cranberry and Pistachio Nougat are well-known favourites and we're delighted to showcase them at the HEART."
