A baby boy is fighting for life in a NSW hospital after a car crash on the state's mid-north coast that also injured two women. Emergency services were called to a road near Forster about 1.30pm on Monday, following reports a car had hit a fence and flipped. The driver and two passengers, a 46-year-old woman and five-month-old boy, were seriously injured. The driver, a 27-year-old woman, was thrown from the vehicle and injured her spine, while the other 46-year-old woman has head and chest injuries, a spokesperson for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service said. All three were treated at the scene by paramedics, before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
