A search will resume on Tuesday morning for a teenager swept off rocks at Hill 60 in Port Kembla on the NSW south coast.
Emergency services were called to the Headland about 3.45pm on Monday, after a 19-year-old man fishing from the rocks was hit by a large wave and washed into the sea, police said.

The man's friends, aged 17 and 50, entered the water in an attempt to rescue him and emergency services were alerted.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District initiated a search assisted by Surf Life Saving NSW, Marine Area Command, PolAir, Marine Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance, and the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter.
The two friends were recovered by witnesses and life savers, both suffering minor injuries. They were taken to Wollongong Hospital with cuts and abrasions.
It's understood a third person was being treated at the scene - though unclear if it was one of the rescuers.
The search was continued for the third man late Monday; however, was suspended shortly before 6pm due to deteriorating conditions and fading light.
