Entries are open for the inaugural West Cape Classic – Tarmac Challenge, a three-day competition for classic and modern sports cars. The South West will play host for the event, which will be held from April 27 to 29.
The competition will test man and machine in stages each day including circuits, closed road sprints, hill climbs, motorkhanas and more. The challenge will commence at Kwinana Motorplex on the Friday morning then traverse roads around the South West, including Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret River and Collie.
The convoy will then return to Perth for a finale at Claremont Showgrounds. Categories will suit older or newer cars with either one or two drivers per car, a driver and passenger and there is a touring class for those who wish to take it a bit easier. The event will also involve a social program for competitors.
