The Lower Blackwood LCDC and Southern Dirt are hosting a free Energy and Effluent presentation at the Karridale Tavern on Thursday June 21 from 4pm to 6pm.
The presentation will give farmers insight into latest technologies and innovations that could benefit their farming properties.
Presenter Caleb Martin from Greenlands Equipment will be speaking about on-farm applications suited to solar energy systems such as farm infrastructure, centre pivots and water pumping.
Also being covered is alternative effluent management solutions and the latest separation and distribution technologies available.
Biodigesters are an innovative and exciting solution to both effluent management and energy needs and the AgGrow Group will be providing insight into how they work, why they work, their benefits and examples of biodigesters in action.
There will also be information about energy and effluent projects that are currently happening in the Lower Blackwood Catchment that farmers can get involved in.
