Margaret River shopping centre The Village at Margs has been purchased by the Perdaman Commercial Property Group.
The $20 million-plus sale was announced on Tuesday, with Perdaman chairman Vikas Rambal welcoming the new addition to the varied portfolio, which also includes investments in fertiliser production, pharmaceutical distribution, migration services and advanced energy solutions.
The WA-based multinational also owns the Port Coogee Village Shopping Centre and the Northam Boulevard Shopping Centre.
Previous owners Sirona Capital placed the complex on the market in September 2018, with anchor tenants including Woolworths, Red Dot, BWS and Plus Fitness.
Meanwhile work continues at the centre on the breakdown-plagued travelator this week, with repairs expected to be completed around mid-April.
