Representatives from the club conducted a day clinic with the various year groups.
They practised dribbling, passing and multiple skills to create what they hoped was a fun experience for all students involved.
Teacher Emma Reynolds said it was the first soccer clinic for the year.
“We keep it very simple so everyone can join in,” Perth Glory community and development manager Callum Salmon said.
Raised on soccer and surfing in Geraldton, Salmon said the club recognised the importance of visiting regional schools, visiting two in the South West last week.
The club has previously travelled as far as Albany and Geraldton to promote healthy, active lifestyles.
With 350 students participating in both the regional schools, Salmon said it was a fun experience encouraging the students to run around.
Salmon said the games at each school may change, but the active message stays the same.
“School can be tough for some students, it’s nice to provide an outlet for them,” he said.
Salmon said it was great to visit the schools, particularly due to the enthusiasm of the students.
Perth Glory will conduct a soccer school on the Dunsborough Playing Fields from 9am-3pm on April 16-17.
