"Following our first meeting last month, we have formed six focus groups developing specific areas of knowledge," explained spokesperson Mary Flynn. "Each group meets regularly and comprises a spokesperson having between 6 and 12 members."
The groups - 'The RIP Cafe', 'Be Prepared, Legally', 'Spiritual Dying Support', 'Palliative Care', 'Choices - Death & Funerals' and 'Burial Options Group' - provide opportunities to develop ideas and find solutions for locals wishing to have more choices at the end of their lives.
The next meeting will be held at the Old Chapel at the MR Community Centre on Saturday May 18 from 2pm until 5pm.
