Calling all music trivia wizards, your time has come!
Next week Settlers Tavern will host a special Music Wiz fundraiser event in support of local housing advocacy support group, Just Home Margaret River.
The evening will be run in the style of the popular Rock Wiz TV show, featuring live music, special guests musicians and amazing prizes throughout the night.
Just Home Deputy Chair Craig Mathieson said the event was being held to raise funds and awareness of the increasing challenges faced by families and individuals experiencing housing stress and homelessness.
"Just Home is a volunteer-managed organisation working to address homelessness in the Augusta Margaret River region," Mr Mathieson said.
"Many people find it hard to grasp that Augusta Margaret River has a growing number of families and individuals who are living out of cars or forced to sleep in unprotected and unsafe environments in order to have access to basic amenities and stay dry in winter.
"Margaret River has increasing rates of domestic violence, few secure employment opportunities, and expensive rental prices, which are some of the causes of homelessness in our community.
"Just Home is trying to address this growing challenge. Everyone is invited to support Just Home's work by attending Music Wiz.
"The Music Wiz event promises to be a hilarious and entertaining event that will warm your winter with fun, laughter and first-class entertainment, and Just Home thanks Settlers Tavern for their generous support in hosting the event.
"We're also encouraging people to come down and enjoy a great meal at the Tavern before the quizzing begins."
The Settlers Tavern Just Home Music Wiz will be held at Settlers Tavern on Wednesday July 3. Doors open at 8pm, table bookings are advised for dinner.
Music Wiz tickets are $15, and are on sale through www.settlerstavern.com or available on the night.
Ticket price includes a middy of Rockin' Pale Ale beer, a glass of house wine or a soft drink.
All proceeds from tickets sales go to Just Homes Margaret River.
