There is plenty to cheer about now the Monkey Bar has opened at Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co's production site in the Vasse Light Industrial Area.
Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co's managing director Brent Burton said after they outgrew their Wilyabrup brewery and moved their production site they had always planned on opening a small bar in Vasse.
The idea behind the bar was for educational purposes so the team could share their story and be a place where locals could hangout over a beer.
"Our other venue is more family-friendly focused, the Monkey Bar is more of a tap room and tasting area focused on the beers," he said.
"We can now tell our cheeky, mischievous, naughty little jokes at the Monkey Bar and have a bit of a laugh over a beer.
"The bar is focused on educating people about beers and production.
"We have little pizzas which we serve as well. We kept the food offering quite simple because we are focused on the beers, although the pizzas are quite tasty."
The Monkey Bar has been opened for the past two weeks and has already seen an influx of locals visit the breweries production site.
"We are having fun with it already," he said.
The Monkey Bar is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm until 7pm, Saturdays from 2pm until 7pm and Sundays from 12pm until 6pm.
The team are running specials every night with $10 pizzas on Thursdays and $5 middies of lager on Fridays.
