It's time for the Margaret River Hockey Club's annual Scarred for Life memorial match, which will coincide with the club's registration day this Sunday March 14.
President Maxine Williams said the new turf project was moving along.
"Although it's had major delays due to COVID-19, and some other issues, we are pretty close to revealing all the plans, and then off it goes in the tender process!"
Vice President Louise Mann said the Open Day was a great opportunity for new and old members to catch up, talk hockey and jump on board for a hit in the exhibition match.
"It is a fundraising day for the club with all the proceeds raised going into club culture and mental health initiatives.
"So bring your coins and notes to help us reach our target. Raffles galore, bidding wars, and a foxy little auction will be part of the fun on the day."
All the action kicks off at 10am Sunday March 14 at Gloucester Park. For more info, visit www.facebook.com/margaretriverhockey
