A teenage boy has died and another is seriously injured after multiple alleged stabbings near a school in western Sydney.

Emergency services received reports of the stabbing at 3.40pm on April 12 but before officers arrived at the school the two teens presented to the Blacktown Police Station.
Both boys were suffering severe stab wounds, police said.
Their injuries were treated at the police station but one of the boys died.
The other boy was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Initial investigations have led officers to arrest one person who was "nearby", police said.
Investigators have established a crime scene near the school, where the stabbing allegedly occurred, as well as at the police station.
The investigation into the alleged stabbing will continue, police said.
