International music artist Mama Kin Spender and the Chorale Sea choir will headline an extraordinary music line-up at the action-packed SunSmart Augusta River Festival this long weekend.
Festival fun will kick off from 9am on Sunday on the banks of the Blackwood River, where primary school aged children will compete in the 'Float Your Boat' competition.
More than eighty market stalls will line the Augusta foreshore while an all-day programme of music will keep toes tapping while the kids take in the Kids Zone.

Food trucks, drink stations and plenty of family-friendly dining options will keep festival-goers happy and SunSmart Sunscreen stations throughout the event site will help avoid the burn.
Blackwood Regatta boat builders have been busy turning recyclables into river-worthy craft to compete for this year’s $2000 prize pool.
Festival organiser Jon Godden said the programme had been designed to attract people of all ages and interests to Augusta.
"It's pretty spectacular down here on the foreshore and we'd love everyone to come down and experience some awesome live music, chill out by the water, have something to eat and enjoy the best of Augusta," he said.

The festival programme has expanded this year to include a Vintage Corner curated by The Flying Wardrobe, retro car displays, and the biggest amusement alley zone to date.
"Our festival promotes sustainable fun with a community loom construction project and giant fish sculpture taking shape on the river front. School children have created more than 200 colourful CD looms that will hang in the Kids Zone."

A massive day of live music will feature Nicky Bomba's Bustamento, The Tommyhawks, Applejack & Moonshine, Blue Child Collective, and Katie J White as well as headliners Mama Kin Spender and the Chorale Sea choir. Fireworks at 8pm will close out the not-for profit event.
Entry is $5 ($2 children under 12). Please note it is a smoke free event with a licenced bar on site. No dogs, no BYO, no bikes, scooters or skateboards. For info visit augustariverfestival.com.au
