The clouds have finally parted in time for the golfers at the Margaret River Golf Club to get out on the course and have some fun over the last week.
Last week's Tuesday Veterans 9-hole Stableford competition saw David Benson in first place with 20 points, Colin Andrews in second place on 18 c/b points and Ray Atcheson in third with 18 c/b points.
Four players finished with 18 c/b points for that day, including the second and third place getters as well as Garrick Masters and Niall Carey.
Wednesday Women's 18-hole Stableford Competition was sponsored by Barbara Webster & Eileen Budge and had Kim Robson first on 36 points. In second was Leonie Bell on 35 points and in third was Penny Foy with a score of 32 c/b points.
Thursday Men's Scroungers 18-hole 4BBB event was sponsored by Elders Insurance and had a better weather than previous weeks.
In first place was Jeff Crouch & Mark Bonnette on 46, in second place was Ray Scott & Graeme Bedggood on 45c/b and third place went to Laurie Bedford & Terry Halsall on 45.
Saturday's 18-hole Men's Stableford event was sponsored by Leimac Building and had Geoff Barrett first on 35 c/b points, Trevor Sanders second on 35 points and Bill Ross third on 34 c/b points.
Sunday's Mixed 18-hole Mixed Stableford event was sponsored by Preveli Wines and the Homes Family and saw Mark Owen first with 39 points.
Bruce Darby came in second with 36 points and third place went to Sue Bloxam on 35 c/b points. Well done to all the players.
