Theft
A distinctive mountain bike was stolen from Margaret River about April 23-25. The bike is similar to the one pictured but has the “Choc” lettering. Police say there are only a few bikes of this type in the area and if anyone sees one they should contact Crime Stoppers.
Person of interest
Police are asking for public assistance to identify a man who they believe can assist them with their enquiries into the recent burglary of Margaret’s Forrest. Anyone who knows the identity of the man pictured below is urged to contact Margaret River police.
Public appeal
The destructive fire at Anytime Storage on Sunday has been labelled suspicious by investigators. About 7am a fire started at the Owen Tucker Lane complex leaving dozens of units gutted by flames with more damaged. Police are asking anyone who saw any cars or people in the area about the time of the fire to contact Crime Stoppers.
General warning
A number of thefts from parked cars over the last few months has made police issue a reminder to lock your vehicles even when you think they are parked securely. Thefts can occur from driveways and carports within seconds. Also remember to lock your doors when not at home even if just for a short while.
