The Landmead solar farm, in East Hanney near Abingdon, is built on low-grade farmland used for grazing sheep.
The sheep stayed and, in an effort to improve the farm's biodiversity, wildflowers were planted.
Belectric, the company which owns the farm, has 10 solar farms in the UK. It says that is enough to power 40,000 homes a year.
