Western Bulldogs, Sydney Swans, Melbourne Storm and Cronulla Sharks fans are gearing up - BIG TIME!

The AFL grand final is Saturday and the 2016 NRL season culminates with the Storm-Sharks grand final on Sunday.

A stalwart of lifelong learning and community spirit has been recognised at the latest Margaret River U3A gathering.

Life membership awarded

Busselton swimming sensation Pamoana Pirikahu is taking big strides in his chosen sport, achieving a raft of personal bests at the latest nationals competition. Pictures supplied. 

Local swimming sensation Pamoana Pirikahu, was recently honoured with the Busselton Freight Rising Sports Star Award.

Local artist Sam James (work pictured) is just one of a huge number of creatives who have submitted works for the Visual Stories Art Exhibition & Competition. 

59 local artists have submitted a total of 87 works for the chance to collect one of three prizes.
