Four long-serving parent volunteers of the Cowaramup Junior Football Club were recognised with special awards at the annual club wind-up and AGM on Sunday.
Mark Barrett-Lennard, Paul Miller, and Nathan ‘Brooksy’ Brooks were given special certificates and gift vouchers in thanks for their efforts that go “above and beyond” in assisting the club over many years.
Outgoing Club Secretary, Fiona Peillon, also received a special certificate acknowledging her contribution to the club.
All our parent volunteers have done wonderful things to assist our junior players in becoming better footballers and in helping our club grow year on year.

This season marks the final year in which these four still have children eligible for junior football ranks, although Nathan Brooks has indicated he will continue helping with coaching the 13s team in future.
Club President Julia Meldrum presented the certificates and thanked all four for their selfless contribution.
“They, and all our parent volunteers, have done wonderful things to assist our junior players in becoming better footballers, and in helping our club grow and thrive year on year,” she said.
