Margaret River Roller Derby team the Cabernet Savages headed north over the weekend for the two day Midwest Derby Clash held in Dongara where they enjoyed mixed results.
Playing two games, the team lost their first bout but managed to secure a wine against the Sin City Rollers - representing the Geraldton club - with a score of 277 to 146.
Margaret River skater SMAK - aka Sarah Kissell - was awarded Most Valuable Player for the event.
The team will travel to Albany for their next bout to be held on May 25 and 26.
