Schools, community groups, performers, theatre companies and choirs are being invited to be part of new free community event in the South West.
Street Fest is a free inclusive community event coming to Western Australia in 2020, landing in Margaret River on Saturday March 14 and Albany on Saturday March 21.
Street Fest, in partnership with the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, Albany City Council are bringing 7 international street performers and artists to the South West in a roadshow showcase style for the two one day festivals
Schools and community groups are being offered spots on the 'local's pitch' to perform.
Choirs, dancers, skaters, circus, school troupes and solos all welcome.
Spots will be 45 minutes maximum in length which includes set up and pack down for acts.
At the end of each spot performers can pass the hat and collect donations for themselves or their group.
There is no fee for performers other than their 'hat pass', and Street Fest organisers will provide an area and a time for each group.
Performance spots will be scheduled to make the most of all shows performing on the day.
Registrations close on February 1, 2020.
