Margaret River region winery Flor Marché celebrated its 10 year anniversary on Saturday February 8 with a party at iconic Juniper House in Gracetown.
Flor Marché was established in 2010 and in its first vintage purchased one tonne of Riesling grapes from the Porongurup subregion of the Great Southern.
Bottles of the inaugural vintage were shared at last week's anniversary event.
Over the past decade, the winery has achieved significant developments including management of a two hectare organic Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard planted in the late 1980s.
Flor Marche has also marked the opening of a Cellar Door at Willyabrup Dreaming Pottery and Gallery.
Owning and managing a small business is an incredibly difficult path to navigate particularly in the wine industry. To reach 10 years is quite a milestone. I have had so much support over the years from friends, family and my community.
- Elizabeth Reed
Over 70 guests attended the anniversary event in Gracetown to celebrate these milestones.
Local musicians the Riverbugs performed, delighting the crowd with their contemporary jazz tunes.
Lighting by Grant Preller illuminated ancient marri and peppermint trees creating a grand spectacle for guests as they arrived at the property.
Flor Marché winemaker Elizabeth Reed said she was thrilled with the event.
"Owning and managing a small business is an incredibly difficult path to navigate particularly in the wine industry. To reach 10 years is quite a milestone," she said.
"I have had so much support over the years from friends, family and my community. It was wonderful to celebrate this occasion with so many of them present."
Flor Marché's next event will be the 'Gracetown Winter Solstice Banquet' to be held on June 20.
