RIVERSLEA resident Maureen Kollman has a clear motivation for taking part in this year's Margaret River Rotary Fun Run.
She wants to beat her husband, Stu.
"Last year he finished in 55 minutes without any training at all," she said.
"There's no way I'm going to give him another year of bragging rights."
After building up her speed and endurance with the Margaret River Recreation Centre training squad, the determined lady can almost taste victory.
Training program co-ordinator Sarah Kissell was positive about Ms Kollman's progress.
"The squad's training hard and I'm sure she'll cruise through the race," she said.
