As a bushfire continues to rage south of Margaret River, photographs from the fire front show the iconic locations caught in the path of the uncontrolled blaze.

It is understood that Boranup Forest has borne much of the fire damage, with DFES Incident Controller Brad Barton last night telling the Margaret River Community Meeting that around 4,500 hectares had been burned from Redgate to Boranup.
Mr Barton described the fire as 'erratic and unpredictable' and said extremely challenging weather conditions meant firefighters were removed from the fire front until it was safe enough to return.

He also said no property losses were listed at this stage, but assessments were unable to be conducted until the fire was contained.
"We know of none and no damage at this stage to any property, but that is still obviously under investigation," he said.
Photographs from the fire zone show popular tourist attraction Lake Cave affected by the fire, the extent of which is unknown.
