Saputo Dairy Australia is conducting the recall as the products may cause illness if consumed.
The products have been available for sale nationally at various outlets including Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, independent supermarkets and Costco.
The recalled products are:
- Devondale salter butter, 250g with a best before of May 18 2022 or June 4 2022
- Devondale salted butter, 500g, with a best before of April 30, 2022; May 1 2022, or June 24, 2022
- Devondale salted butter 3x500g with a best before of May 1, 2022
- Woolworths Butter salted 250g with a best before of Oct 16, 2021; April 21, 2022; May 12, 2022 or May 13, 2022
- Devondale unsalted butter 500g with a best before of April 30, 2022
- Devondale Dairy Soft Original 500g with a best before of Jan 6, 2022; April 6, 2022; May 11, 2022; May 12, 2022, or May 26, 2022
- Devondale Dairy Soft Salt Reduced 500g with a best before of May 10, 2022
- Woolworths Butter unsalted 250g with a best before of Oct 16, 2021; May 11, 2022, or May 12, 2022
Consumers have been advised not eat these products.
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
